Howdy! I am honored to be part of an amazing organization. I have a diverse background in psychiatric-mental health nursing, pharmacy, and agriculture. I have behavioral health experience across the lifespan and specialize in military and veteran issues. I am an AgriSafe Nurse Scholar and AgriSafe Farm Response provider. I currently work as an inpatient behavioral health nurse and support the Texas AgrAbility Project as a Total Farmer Health Coach. I earned my MSN in Nursing Administration from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed my BSN in Nursing at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

As a military spouse, registered nurse, and farmer, I have a unique perspective on the issues facing rural populations. I am an advocate for increasing access to mental healthcare for rural populations and for specialized resources to help farmers and ranchers overcome physical disabilities and limitations. Along with my husband and four children, we own and operate a produce farm and nursery in rural Central Texas where we also train and mentor veterans and first-time farmers. We are also actively involved with the Texas AgrAbility Battleground to Breaking Ground Program and serve as a satellite training farm for distance learning students from Texas Tech and Central Texas College.
