An agricultural worker was frustrated and confused with their work and place in the agriculture field. Feeling like they had no other options or support, they found the number to the AgriStress Helpline and made the call. The caller was invited to share their feelings in a safe and confidential space where they were heard, understood and validated. The ag worker was able to work collaboratively with the specialist to identify coping skills they caller could use in their daily life to help manage their. The caller was open to and accepted referrals to local resources in their area to help them navigate the frustrations they were experiencing in the field!
