Charlotte Halverson is an occupational health nurse and serves as a Total Farmer Health Coach for the AgriSafe Network. Prior to this role, she served as the clinical director for AgriSafe until retiring in December of 2022. Charlotte worked for several years in hospital acute care settings and community education. During those years, Charlotte developed and managed a Rural Outreach health service serving nine counties in northeast Iowa and northwest Illinois. As part of the team that developed the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety, Charlotte served as the clinical services manager for seventeen years and is a graduate of the University of IA agricultural occupational medicine course. With a primary focus on providing training and resources for rural healthcare providers, she has been committed to improving the health and safety for agricultural workers and their families.
