Christy Sobolik

Program focus: Iowa

Alongside of her family of 2 children and husband,  Christy is a  producer on her fifth- going on sixth- generation family farm located in rural northeast Iowa.  For over 150 years, Christy’s family has managed a diversified farming operation including dairy and beef production as well as hay and row crop production.   Along of her agricultural background, Christy has a background in education, crisis prevention intervention, and mental health and wellness.  Christy is an agent for positive change as she is a member of Women, Land & Legacy; a USDA education and outreach program to build networks and bridges for women to make informed decisions for their land and communities. This knowledge and experience feeds Christy’s passion to be a Total Farmer Health Coach to “Help Protect the People Who Feed the World”.
