Agricultural Occupational Health Training Program
This specialized training program provides the information and skills to enable health care professionals to function in the anticipation, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and injuries in the farm and ranch community. The training is also designed to establish Provider level membership to the AgriSafe Network. The 2008 training is being offered at two universities: the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, IL.
The training is specifically for nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, and any additional interested health care providers.
