Elluminate Distance Learning Opportunities
The AgriSafe Network aims to provide appropriate and timely training opportunities for Network members and affiliates. Through partnering with the Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health, the Network has been able to offer a series of fantastic speakers using the web-based Elluminate program.

Elluminate is web conferencing software that allows participants to log in from any location. The speaker gives their presentation through a microphone with the support of slides that work similarly to PowerPoint. Participants hear the presentation through their computer speakers and can see the presenter’s slides on their own screens. Elluminate also allows participants to enter text questions or raise their figurative hand and ask questions directly to the presenter using the microphone on their computers. It’s an effective tool for bringing together people who might not otherwise be able to attend trainings due to travel or time constraints. To learn more, visit: http://www.elluminate.com/
