AgriMedicine Courses

Ag Med courses are offered at select institutions each year and are approved by AgriSafe as meeting the designation of a certified course.  Topics may range among training sites, however, core topics generally include:

  • Zoonotic Diseases
  • Transportation Hazards
  • Respiratory Health        
  • Ergonomics
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Skin Cancer
  • Behavioral Health

At AgriSafe we believe that rural professionals should access training courses that

  • improve their clinical competency to serve the health care needs of farmers.
  • complement their passion to integrated occupational health in primary care
  • expand their knowledge of emerging issues that impact the lives of rural citizens. 

Target Audience
Nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, veterinarians, and other interested health care professionals.
