Mission To support a growing network of trained agricultural health and safety professionals who assure access to preventative services for farm families and the agricultural community.
The AgriSafe Network is a non-profit national membership organization representing health professionals who work in the field of agricultural health and safety. AgriSafe providers represent a diverse group of professionals with various clinical backgrounds (RN, ARNP, PA, MD, etc.). They are employed among various settings including health departments, hospitals, rural health clinic, schools, etc.
Our governance structure and strategic planning initiatives reflect an organization that is innovative, creative and member-driven. The AgriSafe Network originated from the University of Iowa in 1987 but has now expanded beyond the state of Iowa. By the end of 2007, we expect to have AgriSafe clinics in at least ten other states. |
